  3 African Grey Parrots... Incredible. I went to Mike's with a friend to get a collar and a leash for his Rottweiler. It needed to be a big thick collar and a strong metal link leash. The young woman who helped me was knowledgeable and friendly. She helped us choose good merchandise that was not the most expensive. While checking out, I noticed an African Grey Parrot in a large (and clean) cage. I had an African Grey Parrot when I was a teenager and they are not only difficult to find but they are very expensive. (They are great "talkers"). I asked about the price and she smiled and said that the store had 3 African Greys each one costing $1500.00. I mention this because I found Mike's and a number of other stores in this Florence Avenue district to have surprises and items not found in many other parts of the city. Drop in at Mike's and see there extensive supply of pet accessories. Don't be surprised if a bird whistles at you on your way out. There are 3 champion talking birds just waiting to surprise you.
