  I purchased a $400 Nikon lens through their Amazon store, and well you know what they say about too good to be true.... So, instead of shipping the lens, that in my opinion they never had in the first place because it was simply teaser listing, they actually tell me their Amazon account was hacked and they can't issue my refund because Amazon closed the account and they no longer have access to it. First off, no one hacks an Amazon account because Amazon holds the payments for 2 weeks. Of course, I called Amazon, who verified that the account is not closed and states that they actually marked my purchase as being prepared for shipping, so now I have to wait for my refund! I see this guy is still an Amazon seller... lovely. So, I call and complain to Nikon, turns out they are not even an authorized dealer. Buyer beware.

  Sad to see all the bad reviews but my experiences are the exact opposite. This place is world class and a truly wonderful source for FILM photographers. Never had a bad experience with Mel Pierce. Shipping is great and surprisingly fast as well.

  This company is on Amazon and unfortunately are dishonest. I placed an order for an amazing deal for a used lens. A few hours later I received a notice that it was "canceled by customer" - this is NOT true and I did not cancel it. Upon looking at their store feedback, there was at a LEAST 10 other orders (various merchandise) that have the same issue. Items were canceled without notice or reason; yet items claim to be in stock. After canceling the orders; the items still remain listed. It's such a shame to run a business this way. I would have been a repeat customer; but seeing that this is an on-going issue; they lost out on their chance of business with me in the future. Reported their behavior to Amazon as well. ***UPDATE*** To top it all off - they just changed the price of the item that I ordered that THEY canceled from $600 to $800!!! DISHONEST!!!
