I needed to pick up a time-sensitive prescription that should have been ready Monday night, or at least Tuesday for pickup. I finally visited the pharmacy after three days of not hearing if the prescription had even been filled. Not only had they not filled it, they had not even done paperwork to fill it (which is absolutely necessary), and then tried to give me the incorrect dosage (half of what was prescribed). They offered to fill it again once the supply ran out, as if that was an option that wouldn't require another appointment with my doctor, and an additional day of everyone's time. There wasn't even a refill option on the prescription! Honestly, I think the pharmacist just wanted to be done with me so he could move on to something else. I had to explain to him why this would not be an appropriate solution. If they had processed the prescription in a timely manner, this issue could have been resolved a LOT sooner, or at least noticed. I should not have to go in, after waiting for a confirmation call that never came, only to discover that they had not done the processing for the prescription at all. Unorganized, and uninformed. If I had a choice, I would change pharmacies (and it is an option I am seriously considering, even if it means more driving and time).

I have a terrible cold tonight, my nose will not stop running, making me sneeze. We've all been there. I woke up with a pounding head, chills, muscle aches, and a stabbing pain right behind my eyes. It's an Emergency at this point. All I needed was a nasal decongestant pill, phenylphrine hcl, which is about as common as acetomenophen. You can get it at any pharmacy. (The only reason I didn't have some on hand was because I was house sitting.) So I drive to this CVS location at 4am. I walk over to the right section and try to find it myself, because I'm hurting in such a bad way and want to take it immediately, but my head and eyes are killing so bad it's making it hard to find it.. So I politely explain my situation to one of the two middle aged Asian women working there. I told the one next to me that all I could find was the nasal decon / Tylenol combo, but I needed the nasal decongestant, phenylaphrine hcl, and I'm really struggling. Please help me. EASY REQUEST. I even put my finger right below the word nasal decongestant because I need this stuff immediately. I showed the lady and said the name twice, but the woman paid zero attention to anything i said, obviously, because she responded by glancing at the box, saying, oh you're looking for Tylenol. "You need to go over there." *waves me away* This after I specifically told her my situation and what I was looking for with my finger on the word, right in front of her. She proceeded to talk over me in an aggressive manner, waving me away. She had terrible interpersonal skills. This was the worst customer service I've ever experienced at a pharmacy at a time when I really needed help. I could have probably begged for help from a random stranger and gotten helped, but not this lady. She kept pointing me away almost like you would a dog, she wouldn't even take the 3 steps over to help me find what I needed. She finally told me to go to the pharmacy, and when I asked the pharmacist again, the same thing happened, and she said ultimately said they don't have it, which is absolute horse sh. It's like a fn el pollo loco saying they don't have chicken.. There's literally no one else in the store when this happens btw. So not only are these two women terrible at their jobs, they aren't aware of the basic products that are in the store, but I also suspect they lack a shred of human decency. So after being given the run around, asking many times for help from the 2 staff members, looking for it myself for a few minutes, i finally found the plain nasal decongestant in the other side of the isle from the mixed stuff, which is weird.. So I get the vibe the only reason these women are here is for the paycheck, and they really couldn't care less about people. So I will not be going back. I can't stand people like this.
