  Don't pay attention to the negative reviews, this is a perfect small neighborhood hardware store.Just know what you need before going and they will tell you exactly where it is and might even provide other options like two salespeople did for me.This is officially my joint for home projects.

  I went to buy a shower hose. I wanted a long one like 8' at least, but the longest I found was metal one that was 5' for $20+tax. The staff was helpful enough to find ot for me. A krazy glue tube costs $3 in there whereas the dollar store next to it has the same tube for $1.50, which makes me think the pricing at Callahan Hardware isn't very competitive.

  Well stocked neighborhood hardware store. It can be overwhelming for a lady to walk in but I was assisted by the friendly staff and was able to buy everything I needed from picture hangers, sink basket, to drapery hooks. Jim was patient enough to answer all of my questions about my home projects and made recommendations. They offer quality brands (i.e. Stanley) that are reasonably priced while some are even cheaper compared to Amazon especially if you don't need supplies in bulk. I am very happy and satisfied with my visit and definitely recommend Callahan - excellent customer service!
